Leap Day Wedding | Tavola Room Reception

February 29 only comes around every four years, and 2016 was one such year. Leap Day 2016 was extra special for me, as I had the honour of photographing one of my favourite couples with quite the love story. 

We all know the internet connects us in a way unlike anything else we've created so far. And the internet is how this love story starts for Matt and Diana. A connection through an online Pokemon forum several years ago, is how these two characters met; Matt from around here and Diana from Mexico. Sometimes love is not found where you expected it at all. 

With close friends and family is how these two celebrated their very intimate Leap Day wedding, first at the Wedding Belle Chapel and then in the Tavola room in dels Enoteca. I loved being able to photograph this couple and their guests as everyone was so connected to each other; I live to capture those moments. 

Shout out to dels Enoteca Pizzeria (one restaurant of The Charcoal Group). You guys were awesome!  Excellent service and the yummy chocolate ganache torte you gifted me, oh em gee, so delicious.
