Molly and Dan: Waterloo backyard wedding

I do not know what was up with 2022 but I got to photograph so many great couples. I mean, I usually do but 2022 just felt extra special. Molly and Dan were so much fun to hang out with. The first time we spent time together was during their engagement session, where they trusted me completely and we hung out on graffiti alley in Toronto and made some photo magic. Plus, they treated me to my favourite cocktail at Barchef after we were done. I’m a sucker for a real good Manhattan. Just…an FYI for those that may need to know…

The perfect amount of hot summer weather in July of 2022 gave Molly and Dan the most lovely backyard outdoor wedding vibes ever. I got to meet all their favourite humans, hear some great stories about them both, and in true Molly and Dan fashion bear witness to a first dance to none other than Aerosmith’s “I Don’t Wanna Miss a Thing” because they are beautiful dorks who don’t take themselves too seriously - my favourite. Molly’s sister also improv rapped and it was glorious (she wrote Frog and Toad Are Doing Their Best - go read it), I’m sorry, I couldn’t not mention that.

Molly and Dan, I am so glad to have met you and it makes my heart happy knowing that the two of you are in this world making it a better place.
