Cherry Avenue Farms Surprise Proposal

Don’t worry. This surprise proposal isn’t one of those silly movie proposal’s where one person isn’t expecting the proposal that always leaves the viewer scratching their head wondering, “how dumb are you?” Oh, is that just me???

This proposal, this choice to make a formal commitment to continue life together, was a well thought out decision between Gina and Kumar, but Kumar took it upon himself to make the actual act of proposing an entire experience. And he did not disappoint!

We had a sister and her partner involved in the hijinks (I photographed their wedding a few years ago-you can see that here), plenty of pictures printed to decorate peach trees, elaborate fruit picking plans, me-your ninja photographer-trying to hide and not be seen, and fun dinner plans and an overnight stay in Niagara region to celebrate. Gina and Kumar are great human beings and I am so honoured to be friends with them and to also have been a part of this moment!
